Cook County Assessor's Office Online Payments
If you would like to pay a fee for an Incentive Application, a Property Division, or a FOIA matter you may pay in person at the Cook County Assessor’s Office, by mail
or online using this website to process the payment through Lexis-Nexis/Vital Check. Credit or debit card payments are accepted.
If paying online, you will need:
- the property index number (PIN) for the property
- for incentives, the type of incentive sought for the property
- the exact amount required to be paid as noted on the CCAO list of fees

You will be asked to provide an email address in order to receive a receipt via email. The Assessors office will receive confirmation of payment by sending an email as well.
The Assessor’s Office does not retain personal payment information; only Lexis-Nexis Vital Check receives payment details and generates a receipt. The Assessor’s Office does not manage the payment details and is not responsible for charges made to your credit/ debit card accounts. All concerns about online charges should be directed to Lexis-Nexis Vital Check or your credit card provider.
